Yes, there are a lot of these scripts on the internet. However, the kind I am looking for is very specific:
- I do not care about pixel collision, the default RMXP system of whole tiles being solid or passable is good enough for me. I also don't care about being able to teleport to any pixel.
- I don't care about having separate frames for the characters walking diagonally.
- I'd like a script that doesn't change the speed of the playable characters at all, as it would interfere with my running system already in place.
- When a playable character walks onto a passable event, it should activate only when the character walks all the way onto the tile the event's on, instead of like half way. This is kind of hard to explain, so I made a diagram to show what I mean.
- Works with Ccoa's caterpillar script.
I tried looking all over the internet, but I could not find a pixel movement script like this. If you know where one is, or you could easily create one, please post it in this thread. I would greatly appreciate it.
