Is it possible to take work done on a separate machine and import into a different project? A group of friends and I would like to split the work on our game and we don't know whether it is possible to do so in RPG Maker XP. Thanks in advance.
Yep. You can copy the files in the "Data" folder, or open two projects simultaneously and copy-paste info from one project to another. The only thing is you have to make sure the IDs are the same, because they can be overridden.
It's generally easier, though, for one person to make the graphics and another person to make the maps. That's because graphics and maps are easier to separate than, for example, maps and the Database.
