[RPG] Labyrinth to Lunacy

Heya guys, just sharing one more song here.

This one's actually a part of Quintessence's OST; but this particular piece is available for public use for non-commercial projects, in spirit of Halloween. :) Credit goes to Kan [Reives] Gao. Enjoy!

Construction time: 4+ hours composing, 1 hour mixing/recording.

It starts off slow, but picks up pace after. The last section near the end is probably my favourite section in this song. Was trying things out with some strange time signatures here too, 9/8 and the like. Was pretty fun to compose, but recording annoyed the hell out of me because my comp's slow, and needed to record section by section/track by track. :x

Awesome Bro

Love it! And I rarely love rmxp tunes.
It's only this and chocolatewar that's ever made my playlist :straightthumb:

Wow, amazing Reives! I always love your music, but this one is surprisingly good, even for you.

I will be completely sure to use this song in my game.

any chance that u will make it longer? im doing a nightmare thing in my game and this is perfect, but it sounds funny if i loop it, more detail if u want.

p.s. not saying it doesnt loop well, it does, but rather, i dont want it to slow down :) but again its your work so no wories
p.s.s. i have a ton of samples that i have the rights to if u would like to use them, or sound effects or what ever the proper name is, i like to make music myself, but i know nothing about the termology

Thanks Eric. c:
And mm, sorry death, but I'm pretty short on time these days. In the future though, I may make some changes. Feel free to add the sound effects onto the track yourself if you want.

Are you using VST instruments? It sounds a fair amount like the real thing!
I love the call and response and the minimalistic effects you give at the intro. :)
The way it builds up near the ends brilliant, you should have carried it from there in my opinion, but it looks like you put many hours into it already.

9/10 :)

Edit:
Sorry, completely forgot I was browsing an older thread

if you are using a vsti can you let me know what one it is please? I really want a realistic sounding vsti like this for strings percussion and stuff i had one dsk strings but it laggs my computer so badley that it crashes fl studio the host i use :(

its really good track

A little off topic, but perhaps an EWQLSO could be of help? Its the most realistic VST imo, but it costs a good chump of change.
