[RPG] Bunnyburn's Music

Yeah this is fucking annoying dude. I really dont have any feedback except its not very good. Its just repetitious melodies; I wouldnt even call these melodies. Try to beef up the music with more than quarter note rhythms.

I almost never give terrible reviews on music but I really think you should think out a well written set of melodies. This sounds like it was done in 5 minutes and is very copy/paste heavy. Dont think im flaming you, im not, its just...not very good.

Good Job.

Also cut this shit out, if you dont like what someone says (Nickster post was pretty lacking in response, Ill agree) just ignore it or take the post with stride. Posts like these just show pretentiousness.

in my defense that post was made 3 months ago. i don't know why i was being such a douche bag, my bad.

Considering the fact that you'd already been here for over 2 years, I'd assume you already knew what you were doing. Anyway, back to the topic at hand:

The tracks seem to have little to no coherence. What I mean is that each instrument follows its own path, with little regard for the other instruments. Instead of working together to form a whole, the work against each other, and make the track difficult to listen to. Try experimenting with different instruments, and listen to music to see what places different instruments take in music. (For example, you very rarely lead with a xylophone, although I don't think you did that here)

Woooooo BB that reminds me I should go check out how Neo is going.

Ok I am going to be plainly honest, it is all over the place.
True it's better than the first tracks I made but this really just doesn't have any sort of direction.
The keyboard beats are plain... yeah not very appealing.
To be honest may I ask what your using to compose?
I decided to ditch Anvil a while ago and decided to purchase Orion for making the audio for War's Remorse.
Plus cut and paste not only creates a broken mosaic of sound shifts but also kills origionality.

To think I am giving this advice considering when I first started a year ago.

I can appreciate feedback, which most of you gave, but Nickster didn't give any sort of feedback.  But since he apologized, it's all good.

But I appreciate the feedback, but just wanna say in MY defence, that these are the first two songs I've ever made, so it's obvious they won't be masterpieces.

And odie, I'm using Anvil Studios.  I'm sure there are more powerful programs, but Anvil is reliable, from what I've seen and used, and it fits my budget. (0$)

i didnt listen to the songs yet but i will in a second i just wanted to say this reminds me when i first made music ofcourse it wasnt very good but i can see me gradually getting better over time... and this should happen with you too just keep at it, it took me about 1 year or so to get my music as good as it is in my most recent post but thats becuase i suck at everything lol so it takes me alot longer to learn anything :(

but i make mp3s i make some midis too if you used fl studio i could help you some if you want, its free version is good to use i use it still. but i get free vsti plugins for mp3 music and it can make midis too...

im not sure about anvil if its one of those programs where you use ACTUAL music notes to do a song like alot of others do fl studio doesnt do that which makes it easier for a person like me but i dont know maybe harder for some one who is used to making music with actual music notes...

ill listen to the songs you posted in a little bit and see if i can help you some i dont know if my help will be the best but its better then none... becuase for beginners i know that music was really confusing to make

EDIT: just listened to both of them and they both sound good especially for 1st tracks i dont know why people say they dont sound good at all...

in them both most of the time they dont really have enough instruments in my  oppinion so they kind of sound like old (but professional) music from a super nintendo game. i can tell your going to be really good at this in not too long if you keep this up.

also in the 2nd song the low string i think its an obou not sure but its too loud im not sure but i think usually low pitched strings like that should be lower volume

great job

I mean for first tracks and if you have a small innate musical talent then yeah, they arent bad at all. But its kind of dumb to post stuff and be like LOL ITS MY FIRST TIME BE GENTLE. If you know its not that great then why post something you know you can improve on?

That being said, Nazra and ulitmoadin have given great tips to help you out and im looking forward to some improvement in your tracks.

Well I post things on here like music I know they can be better, but I see how the rmxp community can give me tips on how to do that, becuase I see alot of great things on here and I'm hoping of those those people will give me tips to do it better :P plus if it where me, I wouldnt know where else to go to get feed back from music...

Haha, sorry, I didn't mean it like that.  I just don't want you guys getting the impression that I consider myself a master composer or anything.  I'm a beginner, and just wanted you guys to know that.
