I still play the original occasionally, including with some custom scenarios I built a while back. (Those scenarios were intended mostly as sandboxes) If anyone is interested in how to build a scenario for the original game, all you have to do is find the savegame editor. It allows you to edit various portions of a savegame, create new maps, and whatever you do, you can also use it to save any savegame as a scenario.
Just look in the root directory for the program, usually "C:/Program Files...". There should be every save file, scenario, saved rides, as well as files for the various stuff you can build in game. (The last is only available if you have RCT2, and that is what allows you to do stuff like create custom food stands, etc., if you have the right tools and plenty of time and ability at editing pixel art)
Yeah, I've found a couple of places like that. I believe I currently have the only scenarios uploaded to RCTGrotto which is one of the lesser known sites.

And ooooh a megapark !
Is there a way to upload scenarios so other people can play 'em ? Cause if so, you'll have to upload yours.

There's a forum that I won't name because I don't wish to advertise it, but it's dedicated to RCT and people share their ideas and scenarios on it.
