Robots are Taking Over!!

It came as a shock a few months ago when Microsoft announced it would be closing the doors of Ensemble Studios - one of it's best and foremost internal developers and the company responsible for the award winning Age of Empires series - after the completion of their latest game, the Xbox360 exclusive Halo Wars. With the release of this real-time strategy game slated for two weeks from tomorrow, many have wondered what would happen to the people responsible for the creation of these games that have defined their genre. Fear not, for some Ensemble employees have banded together in this time of strife and have dedicated themselves to their Robot Overlord. Just like the proverbial phoenix, they have risen from the ashes of their past to create a new team called Robot Entertainment. Details are slim as of yet, but rest assured, the robots are on the move!

i have no idea who that is and idc about halo wars, but this stuff seems to be happening more and more frequently lately. a company hits the bricks, and some of the guys decided to make their own company. i know of at least the freerad, and one that i can't recall atm..

Yeah, I gotta say I'm not too bothered about Halo Wars, I did however, play Age of Empires 2 + 3, and thought they were pretty decent,

And pfft, the only robot overlord is Optimus Prime, and anyone who makes something with "Halo" in it's name will be smited. (I'm just not a fan of any of the Halo games, if you ask me, they're plain boring shooters except you jump twice as high, and they were WAY overhyped, there's nothing special about them, even the level designs were crappy on them, this however, is just my opinion, feel free to agree or disagree, I don't care.)

the level designs are a bit better in halo3 (<3 valhalla). the multiplayer levels, anyway, i still can't stand the boring ass campaign for long enough to criticize the level designs there.

Well y'see, I made the mistake of playing Halo 3 at a friends house after he told me it was MUCH better than Halo 1 + 2, unfortunately I didn't think so...
