Ok, from what I can tell now, once again, leaving the shading out of it. the previously stated size errors are still valid... I will really be able to help you when I get the comic (Special ordered it, and it should come in some time late this month) if your still interested in it at that point I could scan a few really good referance up.
 
That means incredibly good... and thats all you need to know... ignore him, hes post count raising.

and as to not make my post spam as well... I'll try to find you another tut that works on rtp style, cause with Hydro, he gets the benefit of using the larger geredreth where you can get away with a bit of pillowy goodness because of its larger size.

I know what that means but I meant for spriting.

The cape looks tacky. It looks as if you just randomly threw the pixels around. They don't necessarily give the image of folds in the cape as they should.
 
I messed with it a few ways, I could never get it the best, this is how it turned out, I think it looks okay. If you could help it out showing me what I need to do to it that would be great.

Some of the default RTP characters have capes that are pretty well shaded. They show where the fabric is pulling and how to highlight it. My suggestion would be to take a look at them and see if you can emulate it.

Nicely done on the sprite. And good luck with the HK!
