RMXP Umbrella Pine Tile Request

Maker: RMXP
Type of resource requested: Tile

Not really a from scratch request, just wondering if there's a sprite out there of the basic RTP coniferous tree in the style of an Umbrella Pine ( as seen in the reference picture ). If anyone has it great, if not, then sadface.

Since nobody knows of an existing tile, I was wondering if someone could conjure on up for me. I'd do it myself, but I'm shit at pixel art and I don't really feel like learning how to sprite/do pixel art at the moment ( I want this project to be as perfect as I can get it to be ). If anyone could fulfill this request, I would be more than grateful.

Reference picture: Is above this post.

EDIT: I forgot to add that I'd like the tree to be the same size as the RTP tree.

if your lazy enough to not even try to improve your pixel art, then you might not get a request filled, there are numerous tutorials, there is one by Perihelion, but i just don't think that I'd contribute to a person who doesn't take their game that seriously, this may sound harsh but I'm just trying to help (maybe in a harmful way). The point is, that if your this lazy you won't get anything done at all, so if your gonna request everything that relates to pixel art that you can't find, either hire a personal pixel artist or learn how to pixel. I think you could be able to be a very good pixel artist but without cooperation and dedication you won't get anywhere.
And why not just use the RTP tree?

(if you have a project thread here it might help get your requests filled)

Thank you and have a very nice day. (don't hate me please  )

I see no hateful things in your comment, just brutal honesty. I'd rather have a good understanding of how this forum works and not piss off the contributers than be a dick noob and make everyone upset :P. I'm not lazy per se, I'm just extremely impatient when it comes to pixel art, but I will take your advice. Thank you for your input, and don't worry; I don't hate you.

Also: The RTP tree isn't native to the region that my game takes place in, and I'm really anal about accuracy.

It's blocky because it doesn't look like you've even cleaned up the lineart of the trunk before you started shading it. That's a bit of a no-no.

If you're really gonna attempt to sprite it yourself, I suggest you take a peek or two at this tutorial: http://www.derekyu.com/?page_id=223.

What you have so far isn't all that bad, it just needs a little more refining.

Btw, did you want the tree be in the RTP-style? If so, did you want them to be the size of a regular RTP tree, or the biggest RTP tree? 'Cause I remember seeing from the first reference picture you posted, the trees were huge. I'm not really asking 'cause I'm gonna take up the request (I'm not that great at spriting things from scratch, especially not trees; just minor edits), but rather as some added information for any spriter that actually feels like taking it up.

You could make the tree thicker, I'm not sure if it would help but here is another tutorial I think would prove helpful:

Thank you and have a nice day!

Haha I know, it was just a practice one that turned out better than I had expected it to turn out ( not saying it's good, but it surprised me ). When you had told me about the tutorial that Perihelion had published, I searched through the pixel art analysis forum for a good hour or so and came across that one ( which is what I used to make the tree, however I was really tired and didn't take my time to read it thoroughly ).
