RMXP Program issue

I just received my new HP Mini computer the other day. I had to download RMXP again. After I finished the download and tried to run the program, I get an error that says somthing like "failed to get a trial serial number from the nTitles server" and then shuts off.
Advice?

Go here for the solution to that problem. (It's one thread above this one, right now) Also, if your screen resolution is less than 1024x768, RMXP won't let you run the program. You would have to change your monitor's resolution to one that requires scrolling to run the software, if that was the case.

Thanks, I was able to change the compatibility to the Windows XP (Service Pack 2). It works just fine now. Forgive my ignorance; I didn't expect something like this.
This won't cause any other problems with my project will it?

It should be just fine, now that you have compatibility set.
