Ok, I hope me flooding the forum isn't bugging anybody, but I'm still trying to get used to doing this on a trial and error, step by step, and forum help basis.. What I'm trying to do in this case is ending multiple events.. What I need done is as follows:
I have an two events set up as 'Player Touch' events that activate a switch that causes three more events to take place.. Since there are two player touch switch events that activates these three events, I'm having trouble keeping the event from happening again when you move onto the other tile which contains the player touch event.. What I'd like to know is how exactly can I prevent the event from occuring more than once even though there are two tiles that hold the event..? I've tried manipulating the self-switches and global switches to get this to work, but I suppose I'll need some type of variable, but I know very little when it comes to variables. The only reason why I want it like this is because it is in a hallway that is two squares wide and I don't want the event to be passed up.. Assistance is highly appreciated, and I hope that answers I may get may help someone else in the future..
