OK I RENAMED THE GAME


Millennia ago the world was pure and only the Elementals roamed the earth.
They lived peacefully and in harmony with the planet. But one day
Humans and monsters appeared in the world. At first the Elementals were
happy to see other beings. But they soon found that they were disgusting
and only lived life in search of power. So they hid themselves from the
world.

That did not last long as both men and monster seeked out their
powers for themselves, to help destroy the opposing side. Wars were waged
for hundreds of years because of this and during this time most of the
Elementals were captured or destroyed. Only a handful remained alive.
In the end their were only 4 left Lorial, the Ice Elemental, Azura, the Fire
Elemental, Kite the Wind Elemental, and Sudo the Water Elemental. They were
imprisoned inside 4 orbs, by the monsters, used to harness their powers.
The powers were so great that each monster turned on one another in hope of
obtaining the power for themselves.

When all the fighting was over the humans triumphed over the monsters
and the orbs were lost, along with the Elementals inside of them. Now the monsters
are back once again searching for the orbs, luckily they are not working together
most are alone trying to secure power only for themselves again. But it won't be
long before a leader emerges and brings them all together under one rule, and when
that happens the humans are doomed...

Unless, some one can find the orbs and release
the Elementals. With their powers free they can dispose of the evil in the
land and the world will once again be in peace.

In the game you find one of the ancient orbs in the clutches of an evil Imp,
Lorial the Ice Elemental. She lends you her power to help you defeat this
monster now you must help find her sisters and release them all to save the
world from it's utter destruction at the hands of evil.



This story is not complete yet but will be soon. It is very long and will probley have many other sequels to follow after I am done. This is my first VX game and I know it doesn’t look great yet but upon completion you will be so caught up in the story that you will forget about the horrible VX graphics.

I'm using all the standard graphics VC comes with and made the story myself.

The demo's completely open, I just copied my game folder and zipped it up you can change it if you want and repost it here, If you find any errors please tell me or feel free to correct them yourself. If you have any suggestions at all tell me I want to make a game everybody likes not just me. I have not made many games with Rpg Makers but I’m trying my best for now if you want to tell me how to do things differently or better I have no problem with that. IF you change things in the game Post them and so I can see if I like them and if other people do to and I will keep them in the game.

Class: Starts out as a basic warrior like most men in the world
       but once he obtains power from Lorial he becomes an
Elemental Warrior

Personality: He's not shy but stays to himself mostly, talks to friends and
                towns people but just like's to be alone most of the time.Although
                he does want romance in his life,there arn't any girls
                in his town and he only travels to see his friends.

Age:23
Class:  She is a warrior and likes to use a spear.. not sure if i'm going
to change it later in the story or not mabey.


Personality: She is Very bossy, and normally gets what she wants,
she cares about people a lot but just dosen’t show
it, she has a problem showing emotions, (except anger)
She grew up all alone her parents killed by some monster
when she was to little to remember.

Age:22
Class: Kira is an Expert, he knows magic but can carry a sword.

Personality:

He is very smart "and to mature for his age". He "like Brett" also wants
romance in his life but dosen't have time for it always studying and going 
on quests for people. He works as a Sword for hire, but has a strong sence of
justice. If sombody hires him to assassinate a man first he will find out why,
and if the cause is unjust he wil insted help the person and keep other
assassians off his back.

Personality: Yet to be seen...very wise







I am looking for some people to help me map out alot of places. As you can see I have a very big world map and alot of places to fill up, the more help I have the quicker this game will be done thank you for looking at this, God Bless

I put up new screen shots and have a new demo download with some bugs fixed, and the characters and the story is nowchanged with more details. I changed a big event in the demo so I hope you all like it

Im a little confused...Is it a journey to save your freind or is there an adventure after saving your freind. Also, Elemental hero O_O...
Yu-gi-oh? And Kira...I LOVE death note so as a personal thing PLEASE do not screw Kira up because if you have ever watched death note you will see how much of a Evil genious Kira is......Personal belief aside, Not enough of the story is realy there, If its your first game then you might have a better chance in early development...People are less "harsh" and understand when someones new...

I have read the whole manga 1000 time's I love it.     Your friend needs help and when you find him it opens up another way larger quest involving wars and mass monster attacks, i dont want to spoil to much of the story yet if you DL it you'll see where i'm coming from. As for Kira i'll be shure to make him one of the best characters ever, he's very important to the story.   Elemental heroes, i did't think yugioh untill after i posted the name ugg, oh well mabey it will give me some hits lol. thx for the questions

I tested your game and it seem to be a small bug
If you go out of the village after the girl ask you if you are ready then go back in
the girl will be there again and ask you once again if you are ready ^_^'

Other than that the game is kinda nice ^^

Thank you so much, i will go check it out i'll try to update as soon as possible. Probley tomorrow night, so i can wait and see if anyone has found anymore bugs.

Why do people think because a character's name is kira that he is from Death Note?!?

Anyways, your story sounds pretty bad and their are some grammatical errors  but your mapping is pretty decent and you seem to be taking crits well, so best of luck to you. I think you should try to flesh the story out more. Also, add some character descriptions.

Thank you, i have been up all night trying to fix those grammer issues and will be uploading another demo tonight. The story is realy long and starts slow so I have also been working on some new plot twists for early in the game to get people more into it but nothing seems original anymore, everything has been done so many times i'm trying to find my own stuff but it is really hard for it not to look like somebody elses. but thank you for you advice.

I played the game. It isn't bad for your first game, your mapping is pretty good, I like your world map. Only it could use some sprucing up, you could maby throw in an intro or some text to tell the player a little about what's going on or some history.

And your NPCs don't say a lot, you should tell the player about the world through the NPCs. I don't think the default battle system is that good (my opinion), I'm not telling you to go out and get scripts though, but maby add some events to make them more fun.

Thank you for the advice I will see what I can do about the NPC's I just updated the game and i changed alot i think you should DL and give it another try i fixed alot of bugs and added a new plot twist besides just going to his friend, read the updates

Ok guys I need help i want there to be a video introduction of some things going on in the world but I don't know how to make one, I figure this is how i'm going to try, tell me if i'm wrong or of it wont work please.

Use screen recorder to make a AVI recording of me playing on the map i want, then just make an event to  play a movie????? can i do that??? please help

Also can sombody please teach me how to make a banner, or mabey make one for me PLZZZZ.

I played the demo a bit. You seem to have misunderstood how the erase event command work. Erase event will only erase events until you reload maps. You have to use switches instead. Also, weren't Rika supposed to give you some gold for buying equipment and supplies? From what I've seen, that gold is needed if you want to spare the player from grinding.

Anyway, the characters have a certain charm to them. The story don't seem especially good or bad, but it can certainly work. I wonder though, if the elementals are that powerful, how could they have been captured and killed? I don't expect an answer if that's supposed to be a secret, just an insurance that this won't be a plot hole. Also, how does Kira stay in business if he occasionally turns against his client? Wouldn't people stop hiring him?

I think you're worrying about the wrong thing here. Just make sure that the characters' goals (or alternatively, figuring out their goals) interests the player and that they have good characterization. Thank you for the advice, and yes I misundersood the erase event command and it caused me alot of greif but I finally fixed it and will have another updated demo hopefully today or tomorrow, as for money, The chest in your room has 100G in it it just dosent say so, I couldent find where to set starting gold on the database so i did it that way, Also about the Elementals you really stumbled onto something their actually Kira was the one supposed to say that when he heres the story, but i'll let you find out the awnser in the game when i update, but really thank you for your advice

p.s. as for Kira, well....he's just that good Experts are like the hunters from Hunter X Hunter, nobody really bothers them and the most of the time get what they want.

I actually dont know what i'm gont to do about the battle system, i dont really like the side view to be honest because the characters look weird, In xp i actually liked the way they did it but that is probley because i'm an artist and loved seeing those full body shots of the characters, I think if i'm going to change it i will want it to be, have the  battlers look exactly like your characters at the same place they were on XP only the battles work like in side view with movement of characters, so you see the battle from behind,....... ugggg i don't know i dont even think they have made that before, well we'll see.












P.S.  If anybody has any advice on this please tell me and I'll try to figure something out.

Thank you for the advice, I will work on the map, I really just placed different regions for players and some towns/castles, and was going to just go with that but now that you mention it I guess I can revise that, I was just hoping it would come to me as the game progressed, once again thank you for your advice.
