[RMVX] Adding Vehicles Help (Again)

Previously I had an issue with changing your character back to their normal selves (Fixed), but now I need help again. I need to know if its possible to stay where its at in any map. I know its programmed with the 3 basic vehicles. I have it programmed where it happens with Map X and Y, but you can't leave the map. I need to set it to stay in the map you park it in, based on Map ID.

Sorry, could you elaborate? Do you mean having a vehicle go on to another map?

Under variable control, click on the Other box.  The first option is Map ID.  I think that's what you're looking for.

Yes I want my custom made vehicle to be able to leave the map. I can set the variables for X and Y, and I can create a Map ID variable, however I cannot set it using the Set Event Location.

Events are map-specific.  In other words, events can't transfer to another map.  If you want it to appear on more than one map, you'll have to create a separate event on each map and use switches or variables to determine which map the vehicle appears on.
