RGSS Player is not working

Recently, while trying to test a script, I noticed the RGSS player didn't work. I tried, and it continued to stay black, no matter how long I waited. I tried it on several other projects, and they all had the same problem. The window's content stayed black, and the game didn't start.

I do not know what I did to set it off; I did install the RMVX trial, use a Resolution script, install RMEE (Rm enhacer fx), test my game several times, and reinstalled RMVX's rtp. But I doubt any of those could have any effect on the RGSS player.

I really need help. Please reply.

Try adding RPG Maker XP to Vista's Data Execution Prevention exception list. There's no guarantee this will work, but, short of reinstalling the operating system, this is the only thing I've ever seen that actually did anything to help this problem.
