rgss help

ok i need with some scripting. First where would i find the command that activates what the defend does in battle? I mean when you press defend how it says defend where would i find the script and command to change that?

I'm not really sure which class is it since I'm not well versed in RGSS, but I do occasionally check there to make some minor mods to scripts.

in your Scene_Battle look for some code that looks like this:

    if @active_battler.current_action.basic == 1
      @help_window.set_text("Defend", 1)
      return
    end

ok and then just change the defend part to what i want? What if i wanted it to access the item menu?

I'm not quite sure what you wanna do, since you said you wanna change something but you didnt explain what you wanted it to do.
