Rgss Help

I just recently learned the ruby programming language, and i was wondering how i would be able to start doing scripts for rpg maker xp, is there like basic scripts that i could learn that would help me develop my skill as a scriptor. Only thing i can do with ruby is write basic programs and very basic interactive programs.

ALSO does anyone know where any good rgss tutorials are?
I would want at tuorial that shows you how to make scripts not ones that tells you what ruby and rgss is, because thats all that I found

You could read the Rmxp help file. This helped me a lot understanding the RGSS commands and methods.

I suggest start off by making a small scene with a menu and a window that displays something. That's how I learned.

Or read the comments of scripts that are default, or other people write. They tell you what each line does. That's how I learned.

Well, hence Ruby and RGSS have different ways of function, you need to learn how the scripts in RMXP work, most preferably by... looking at them :D
