[Resolved] Weird bug with SDK 2.0...

NPCs don't stop talking. Help?

Unless I use a self-switch to take them to a blank page, an NPC repeats itself over and over. It only seems to happen with SDK 2.1 so I'm guessing something went wrong with the 1.5 Update Patch.

Anyone know where this sort of thing is handled so I can find the problem and baleet it?

There problem is the auto-handeling of the updating of the message window that shouldn't happen until the interpreter loop is broke.

The 2.2 version will be out soon and has a fix for it.
I'll look forward to that. For now I'll stick with SDK 1.5 and iron out my other scripts to be more efficient.

For those who check this thread now:
Is there code for checking a Switch in RGSS and what is it? My job system has 2 types of requirements: job requirement and story requirement. The latter will be checked by switch, but I don't know exactly how to implement that.

Thanks again, man. I'm still getting used to Ruby but it won't be long until I can do things without trial and error. If my job system wasn't so tailored to my game I'd try to give back to the community and release it when it's done.

Just do what you can. I am going to resolve this topic now. If you have any new questions, just create a new topic.

This topic has been resolved. If nellshini or any other users have any questions or further problems regarding this topic, please create a new thread about them.

Thank you!
