[Resolved] [VX] Battle Scenes

This is entirely possible to have been submitted once before.
I want this to be sort of a... battle style cutscene, but is there a way to force actions and display text?

Here's what I had in store for my scene.

Battle starts.
Actor 3 uses Squall.
Actor 1 says "What? A magicker!?"
Actor 2 says "Figures, look at those eyes."
Resume normal battle flow.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use the Troops event tab, set the Condition to "Turn 0" which will automatically activate when the battle starts and then have your commands.
