[Resolved] Startup Problems- PLEASE HELP (the official support won't)

Yeah so after realizing that i would have to buy the RPG Maker XP program again (for my new computer) I immediately went onto the website and bought the program. so yes i do have a serial number for the program, BUT everytime i try and open RPG Maker XP it comes up with this message

so i've contacted "support" and they emailed me back and said to close any Anti-virus programs and make sure to allow the program to access the internet. So thats what i did. or thought i did. overall i disabled my antivirus program and I allowed the program access through my Windows Firewall... and the same message is still there. WHAT DO I DO?!??

NOTE: i am a computer novice by most of your standers so good instructions would help alot. Thanks!

If you are running Vista, make sure you are running rmxp in administrator mode.  Secondly you can right click on RPGXP>properties> choose the second tab> and select the run in windows xp (service pack 2)

Well, I'm not an expert at Vista, but you can try using Glitchfinder's tutorial.
