[RESOLVED] Screen Print!

Okay, I've been having quite a few problems with my keyboard in relation to my system, but one of the most annoying ones at this moment in time is the fact that my Screen Print button WILL NOT WORK! I press it, and nothing is put on my clipboard; it doesn't register at all, and I have no other idea how to take screen captures. There are quite a few things - such as character generators - that require the ability to do this, AND I CAN'T!

*sigh* So... Does anyone know what's going on and what I can do about it?

As I recall, you had to press the CTRL, or ALT with PrintScreen.

I haven't used a Windows machine for a while, so I'm not too sure.

What OS are you running?

try it with crtl for full screen and alt for active window.

or just Print Screen button for full screen.. don't need to press Ctrl for that

It's not working. The button just doesn't do anything. I've tried holding Ctr, Alt, and both at the same time, and it doesn't work.

Try prying off the key and seeing if the button still works. If it doesn't, I'd recommend remapping it to something you don't use as often - say numpad - or something. Here's a utility that should do the job. Note that I've never used it and can't vouch for the efficiency/safety/whatever thereof.

Okay, I'll give remapping it a try because I can't get the stupid key off. *glares at button* It is the bane of my existance!

...Anyway, hopefully this works without giving me a virus! ^_^

EDIT: W00T! It works! Thanks a lot! I guess the button was just jammed or something because I remapped it to my Home key and it works fine now! Awesome!
