[Resolved] Names

how can i set a game variable ($game_variable[1]) to the main characters name. ive tried typing in stuff like RPG::Actor.name and party.actor.name but i just cant seem to get it.XD

any help would be appreciated

$game_variable[1] = $game_actors[1].name

Well, if your using Rpg Maker XP, in the message box just type:
