[Resolved]Adobe CS3 Graphics

I was just wondering...I got Adobe Photoshop CS3, and I want to make some awsome crazy logo/ game title with it, but I'm not sure how to start exactly. Is there anyone here that is good with graphics manipulation and such that can give me a short tutorial, or at least point me in the right direction.

Those logos really aren't very special. Just find an interesting font and fuck around with the layer's "blending options".

What kinda fonts though? I'm new to this program so I don't really know where to start. Are there fonts you can download for it or something? I was thinking that I could draw it out first, put it through a scanner, and then mess with it. The only thing about that though is I'm an ok artist, but when it comes to logos and such...not that great.  :down:

Any further help would be appreciated.

Try pixel2life.com or other Photoshop tutorials site. There's tons around.

For fonts, I suggest going to www.dafont.com
Also, try torrenting some fonts.
If you go to the piratebay.org and type FONT in the search, you can find tons of massive font packs.

I would try to avoid logos like that though because that whole style is played out and it won't be special.
You should try designing something that isn't like the game logo every other member has.

Ok, thanks alot dude. I think I'm pretty much set now though anyway. I'm gonna make my own custom Title, and try to make it fancy and cool. It'll be tough where i have no experience with it right now, but it's just another thing to learn, so I don't care.
