Okay. I've seen one script floating around for playing AVI files in RPG Maker XP, but after looking over it I realised it wasn't what I was looking for, plus I couldn't try modifying it because a) that would be wrong and b) I am about as good at scripting as elephants are at flying. It's just not gonna happen ':| So basically, I'm requesting a script for playing AVI files that can do the following:- [x] Be played by starting an event (not just played before the title screen like in SoundSpawn's one) [x] Can have the RPG Maker text boxes still able to pop up over the movie, including choise boxes (and hopefully when the choice boxes pop up, the movie can be paused whilst the player makes the choise) And I think that's about it, if I think of more things I need, I'll ad to this post later ^_^ If people want/need to know why I need this, it's actualyl for a school film project of mine. I'm wanting to create a movie that has the look and feel of a game, including text boxes for speech and the choise of taking several different pathways. Rather than just manipulating a DVD authoring program, I thought it'd be great to be able to do this through RPG Maker XP. It would give it much more of a game-like feel, too. So someone, please help me with this :(
