Religious game, or at least theme

Awesome Bro

By "people so obviously do not want", you mean like, 3-4 of us, right, maybe more who haven't posted... I didn't want Square Enix to milk Final Fantasy with MORE spin offs, but shit they did it...

I hardly think there's a thing as a concept or idea that's honestly "bad." It all depends on presentation, polish, refinement, etc. People didn't like your idea because it was basic, done, cliched, without anything much to back it up, along with the ganging up that was going on. Like i said, an idea needs to be done right, different, add some originality and a twist. That's what matters: making a good game, not something that appeals to the masses (although there is some correlation between that)

then again, if you wanna drop it, drop it.

I don't see how I could carry on with a project that people so obviously do not want. I don't mean that offensively or anything, but that is why I posted the concept, and I have found my answer, - no.

dude what im the only person thats been spamming your thread

everyone else has been giving you sound advice stop convincing me youre a joke account and actually keep making your game

I was ignoring you anyway :p I meant more the negative criticism (the actual criticism).

I guess I am over reacting.

Regardless, this is going away until I have some more of a storyline drawn up, so you can carry on thinking I am a joke account while I work on my game.

y'all had your fun, there's no need to keep shitting up the topic now

This is a better attitude. Accepting and learning from criticism is important, but it's still your game. Crazetex, for example, makes some awesome damn games, and yet they generally get glazed over for a while - but he just keeps on truckin' and makin' games. You don't have to shut down at the first sign of negativity.
