Having a hard time finding scientific / futuristic graphics, I will make my own. This will be an R2k game, so I shall be using 16 by 16 squaretiles.

The callout stuff is kind of dumb, except we don't have much to go on - concept development is supposed to be for decently realized, well-thought out outlines of a game, and you've given us a few vague details. Without dogpiling you, I can tell you what I've heard so far sounds like a ham-handed recreation of almost every rpg that revolves around "the establishment."
More information would be helpful. What about your game is any different, aside from using the actual names of the organizations involved?

Check out Charas Project for tilesets (or is rm2k called chipsets? forgot). Got lots of crap there.
Well, as stated by various people in various forms, the thing you're trying to do has been done. Therefore, maybe you should start thinking out how you're gonna make it immersive and original (or at least the theme with a twist, which today is the same thing as originality). Is it assumed to be the current earth's direct future and not some kind of alternate where you just set up the holy roman empire easily? If it is, then plot out a history of the world a bit, for general references to the player about this past. Assuming you've got the general secret the christians trying to cover up thing idea done.

I do not actually have the whole game outlined, I did not think I needed to to post here (as this board is is for Concepts, not for actual Games). I could be wrong.
Concepts could be anything or as much as you want. Put up as much as you have planned (if you want). Check out some of the popular concept threads; they have shitloads planned out, it's just they haven't started or something

I will post some more info as I get them. To be honest all I wanted was some feedback on the general theme, which has gone down badly evidentally.
It is officially given to the public, you can use this storyline however you please (not that you will want to because you dislike it).

Wait, so you're giving up on the entire thing? I didn't mean you should do that, I was just saying it was very cliched in its current iteration. All ideas need refinement at first. "Fighting the establishment" has been a staple of punk for years, there's plenty of ways you could make it workable and cool.
Also, lurk around Pixel Art Analysis for a little while - there's some amazing resources and tutorials there, and before you know it you won't even need to look for graphics to use. You'll be making them yourself.

I don't see how I could carry on with a project that people so obviously do not want. I don't mean that offensively or anything, but that is why I posted the concept, and I have found my answer, - no.
