Reccommend to me a C++ Compiler

I'm back into playing with code again, but have found myself without a decent compiler. Very saddening, this.

So. I'm looking for a Windows compiler that can handle operations using windows.h, a capability my older compiler lacked. Paycheck's a-comin' today, so I'm not going to shoot down ideas just for not being freeware.

Microsoft's Visual Studio Express is actually really, really cool.  Maybe the first software move Microsoft has made, erm, ever, that I was genuinely surprised and impressed by.  Totally worth the time it takes to download (if you didn't catch it, it's free, yes, MS software legitimately and genuinely free).  Other than that, I used to use Cygwin and GCC.

Cygwin is a lovely one. I usually use it for my projects on Win32. Since you appear to be used to Dev C++, I'll point you to MinGW, which Dev C++ uses. http://www.mingw.org/
