Rare Shark? WTF?

This morning I saw something amazing on Good Morning America. They had a report of a "What would appear to be a prehistoric shark". It ended up being a frilled shark, which "live between 600 and 1,000 meters under the water, which is deeper than humans can go." It later died a few hours later. Check it out

I at first thought it was a newly discovered shark, but I guess not O_o .

Cool looking shark, I want one of those for my aquarium. Well, if I had an aquarium, if these were available I'd be sure to get one of those too.

Not only would ut be expensive, but it would only live a few hours up here. And you better watch, it might eat your dog/cat/other fish/ Family members/etc...

I bet its already been ground up into a fertility drug. I wonder what fish designed for high pressure taste like. Are they leaner?

I still wonder if they will find a live specimen the Carcharodon Megalodon that is said to be extinct...

Here is a little bit about what scientist say:
While great whites typically grow up to 20 or 25 feet in length, the megalodon was twice as long and had a gaping maw that a human could climb into, should someone so desire.

"They were huge sharks, approximately the length of a Greyhound bus and possessing teeth that were up to six inches long," said Ciampaglio.

In Greek, megalodon means "big tooth." Thanks to those teeth, scientists have been able to estimate the size of the megalodon to have been at least 40 feet in length. Many researchers suspect they were 50 feet or larger, and some have speculated they were much bigger.

Megaladon died out in the ice age. Its gone. People bring up the basking shark, but the basking shark rarely surfaces and when it does it eats shrimp. A predator as big as that shark wouldnt be even a little bit elusive because it would have to be. And also, why would anyone want something like that to still be around? I've never understood the general fascination with wanting to bring back animals that'd love to kill and eat us.

I guess It's one of two things: - a fascination with massive 'evil' creatures
- a fascination with creatures as destructive as humans

Oh and yeah I heard about this shark quite a bit ago (about the same time as the first post lol). Yeah I'd like to see one, very kool.

Jesus Christ... that thing looks like some alien fish. Coolest looking shark I've ever seen definately. There really is no telling what's living down there, huh?

Yeah, I remember seeing this on the news. I was like "Died after 2 hours? Damn."

I wanted one....

There's nothing that isn't cool about it.

That shark looks like an eel. It'll look nice as a boss for my game though.. :D

But i pity the female one.. :( Too bad another potential reproduction has been cancelled... :(

But that shark looks cool! :D
