Random world map generater

Is it possible to make a random world map generater,for VX? I need it to create world maps faster,almost just like the dungeon generater but with more options than floors and walls,more like land,water and shallow,to be randomly placed one time,than it could be edited.

Could you please be more descriptive seipher187? What do you mean by base? Would the world be randomly generated every time you enter the map? Once and a while? When a switch/variable is manipulated? Only once, when the game is first started?
