How to say this, I will accept small requests but nothing big I guess.

- Whatever style battlers if I find it interesting

Name of Request:
Description:
Reference Pictures:
Proof of work/project topic/etc:

You must have reference pictures, your request will be ignored if you do not have any. You also got to tell me your poses too if it's a battler >_>

I will ignore your request if your references consist of stuff like Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, etc characters. Please no overly designed weapons. Show me proof that you will not waste my time. Project topics, videos, screenshots, anything visual that you can use to help your case.

And yes it can be on pm

What template is the sprite on? Also, the portraits in your submissions spoiler are pretty sloppy. The brunette's face in particular is weirdly shaped, but yeah, the shading looks messy. I recommend going back over it and smoothing things out. The second portrait on the template you made (you made it, right?) is better by a very large margin, although the shading on the bangs is weird. They look more like angular plastic things than hair, but that's common of anime in general. I recommend paying more attention to individual strands of hair. I mean, if you're using it as a portrait, you really ought to not skimp on the detail, and it'd look a lot better, imo.

I'd like to see you do a portrait that isn't anime, though.

I can only do anime :x
As for portrait, realism in pixel art doesn't...appeal to me that much...
But I'll see what I can do.

Yeah the little ones gave me a hard time, I was very sure I have a fixed version but I Can't find it somewhere. The second one yes I made it, I can do better stuff if they are...big...

I was making it as friendly as possible in samples because if I put in much detail not everyone can use it, I'll do a much more detailed one next time

for the 2k3 sprite, her sideviews look kind of strange.

the length of her boots or leggings or whatever changes constantly as the sprite animates. with the back foot extended the boot is longer than the middle frame, and with the front foot extended there's no cuff at all -- she's wearing sneakers (this is actually just a matter of the foot obscuring the leg too much but it'd wreck my sentence flow if I took this bit out)

and the third frame (with the foot closest to the camera extended) looks as if you got a bit lazy. her front foot looks like a club, and the pose doesn't match the rest of her stride, and in fact it looks a little like her leg is bending forward at the knee. it also seems to lose a little length -- all in all it looks like she's from a kirby game.

From what I noticed it doesn't have to be something for everybody to use or something so blargh

@Everyberries, noted and thank you :)
I'll fix it right away

last one looks weird because her arms moving wrong
cause u have the shoulder moving side to side u should add elbow movement to, people dunt walk with there arms straight down unless they're marching, not sure if thats any help, but in other words the arm needs to bend upward

other then that looks pretty good

I liked the old one better. Yeah there wasn't enough elbow movement, but now i think it's too much. If she's supposed to be running she's not tilted enough, if she's walking, it doesn't look right at all.

the sideview battler is coming along quite nicely :)
But try not to move the character to the left and the right in the walk animation. And keep the head in place.

I sometimes use this as a reference for sidescroller sprites :)

You can make it work with 8 frames. I did something similar last year. It takes a lot of tweaking to smooth it out, took me 2 weeks.

Your feet run smoothly but the arms seem jerky. The body is leaning forward but it looks like shes holding her head back.
Keep her head stationary with the body. Up and down with the body is fine. but don't do the chicken head bob.
