First off, you seem to have used a color palette fit for the NES system O_o It has far too many darks and only one light,  lacking any mid tones or highlights. The detailing on the top is not only inconsistent with the door itself but its FAR too grainy even for wood. Ease up on the details and change the palette and you might have something there...
