Amy, can you please update your Youtube embedding markup to use the current embed standards for Youtube? Flash doesn't work very well on most things and is pretty outdated (+ im on a browser with flash disabled)

The current version uses iframes instead.

That's actually a separate thing. YouTube will only allow https embedding on https secured websites, so it simply fails if you try it.

Using an iframe should actually get around that problem as it would be technically opening YouTube's website inside this one (so the content is on their site), rather than embedding YouTube's content into this website.

Most browsers won't let you use https iframes on http websites and vice versa. But I'll set up the new bbcode as soon as I get chance, thanks. As long as it doesn't break existing videos.

I had that issue with my game as geolocation requires https, yet my game ran in http. When I changed it to https, my iframe with my chat server in broke as it was http. Clusterfuck is the definition of what happens when you try and combine all these different services. It's an unfortunate quirk of the modern Internet that you can't really avoid Youtube, Twitter and Facebook...

Of course everything should be https these days, but it's not that simple.
