Question about User Animation.

Okay, im using a user animation for a skill. This particular animation is almost 100 frames long. Does anybodu know how to or have any ideas on how to make it so that the player does not move and attack the enemy UNTIL this animation is complete. I am using the Minkoffs Animated Battlers Enhanced With A custom sideview battle system. I was just wondering if this was at all possible. I know you will tell me I need to post my custom battle systems scripts, but theyre for my game that is not released yet, and im not making them public just yet. Im not looking for a script to solve this, but rather idea or opinions on how to achieve this. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
 
I don't know, but... Couldn't you just do a common event, that makes you wait 100 frames and link it to your skill?
This way you are forced to wait...

Edit: Just tested it. It works.
