I'm going to be programming a RPG Maker XP resource manager site and host it on my own web-server. I know that there is one here, but I'd like to make one that is fully loaded with features. It's something I've wanted to do for some time, and since I'm back, why not? :P
I'd like some feedback, ideas, and suggestions regarding the features that you would like to see in your most ideal resource manager.
Here is what I have figured out so far, things marked with [optional] mean that they are not required of every resource uploaded, so people can choose what they want to fill out:
To upload, comment on, or rate a resource, you make an account (valid email address required for password recovery purposes), and that's it. Anyone can view & download resources, no account required.
It will probably take me a couple weeks or so to get it done; I've programmed similar stuff before. My Spring Break just ended, and tomorrow is my first class of the new term. That tuition increase better be worth it. :P
Does anyone here have any ideas, suggestions, or questions? Any categories that you would like to see, be sure to let me know. The more feedback I get, the better the final site will be.
