Problem with Star Wars - BF II

Hello all.

Well, recently I am having some problems with my Star Wars Battlefront II. Like, when I play it, it seems there is a low FPS rate, but when I play online, everything is fine :/

My PC specs: Intel Pentium D 3.40 GHZ with 2Gb ram Core 2 Duo and an ATI Radeon X550 256mb.

What is the problem?

I dunno. Maybe you have the settings too high on your offline profile?

Already tried to reduce everything, it still the same thing.
Some time ago I played on max capacity without any problem.

Does your monitor have TNL? My Battlefront 1 copy didn't work too well because the monitor had no TNL and therefore there wasn't any sky... I don't know. Just a guess.

Now that you said about my monitor, I remembered that my uncle installed some program so the monitor can work on full frequence. But if that is the problem, why would it affect only offline mode?

Umm... maybe try pressing control-alt-delete and going to processes, and then, right as soon as you tell the computer to start running the game, right click on the process that appears (SWBF2 or something like that) and right click it, and set its priority to something higher than what it already it. (not to the top one though, (realtime) it will freeze your computer)

Try that, I always do that for games that dont run well, and they usually end up running better ^_^

Also, if you can, close some of the processes that are running on your computer (if there are millions)
