Problem with Slipknot's SMS

Well, I'm using this system in my game.

My problem is that the first map I have is a dark cave, and they teach you how to battle.
Before teaching they ask if you know how or not, than blah blah blah.

To add to the ambience I made a dark ring picture, or w/e it's called.

My problem is that, for some reason he scripted so that the choices appear UNDER the picture. x.x

In the message system script, add the line in bold:

      @choices = Window_MesChoices.new(self.x + self.width, self.y, @c_data)
      @choices.z = self.z
      @choices.back_opacity = self.back_opacity
