Problem with Game_Vehicle in VX

When I try to get off of a vehicle, I get an error message saying

Script 'Game_Vehicle' line 119: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method 'footsteps_enabled=' for #<Game_Player:0x1c0d178

and then it quits. How do I fix this?

The word "footsteps_enabled" does not appear in the default Game_Vehicle script that comes with RPGVX.  It's probably another Game_Vehicle script, probably one that enables the sound of footsteps whenever the player walks.  I can't help further, sorry.

I removed that bit, it works again.
