Speaking as a rape victim, there are worse things that can happen to you. Like being murdered. You survive a rape. You get over it (eventually). What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that.

This really isn't any worse than consenting adults getting into bondage or S&M fantasies. Should we be condemning fuzzy handcuffs, blindfolds, and velvet whips, too? 'Cept the first one, says theres an extra mode where you can "have sex" with the girls, not rape them.

Most of your guys seem to act like "OMFG, if there's a game having 'rape' in the title, it transforms everyone who plays it into a rapist immediately" -.-

At first, the Wiki is right, there is no act of rape in the game (and Rye, to mistrust the Wiki doesn't makes any sense, because it's nowhere stated that it's otherwise, other than by madmax, who apparently doesn't played it himself...), and before you ask: No, I didn't buy or play that game. I dislike the act of rape as much as you guys do, but I don't think you should be like 'ZOMGWTF, a rape game!' without even take a glance at it...

Second, to the point of being turned on by such things. First, noone can help his or her inclinations (I hope I chose the right words on that, because I think it's important for some in here to understand), so if someone gets turned on by

it's not their fault. As long as they only do it in a videogame, I don't care about it, either. I don't believe in the fact that videogames influence people, and at least not that much that they become rapists because of a game... Of course, if someone becomes a rapist and rapes someone, it's illegal, but it's as much illegal in Japan as it's in the USA or here in Germany. Stop calling the Japanese whatever, like Cruelty further up... Japanese culture is different from the USA's, and while the meaning of my sentence 'Americans get adult at 35' can still be applied today, Japanese culture contains sexuality for a long time. That's no reason to insult them all being perverts, they just acknowledge there is a market for such games because of people having feelings like that (both male and female, by the way... TData was talking about femdom before), and while video games with such content wouldn't reach the broad publich in the western world, it's a different thing in the media nation Japan. Therefore, they can make money with it, and because there is no direct harm for the players or anyone, they're free to distribute it. Games have nothing to do with the real world, folks... it's not a simulation...

If you don't respect the culture, at least don't get insultive of things you have no idea about, like:

Probably right, but not more than in America, Europe, or anywhere else.

In response to Raiju, I agree. Sex is a natural thing, and that is how people make babies. Violence is not so natural, and we end up killing someone so they can never do anything, think again. And it is so odd that we shun sex and think of it as something so unnatural that if kids learn of it, then they'll turn out corrupt, but violence is completely ok. Raiju is right, our values in this country should be rethought.

Rye, I'm not talking about being turned on by raping someone, as this is not in the game at all, just in the title (for whatever reason XD ). As a response to your sentence (that I qouted in my last post): There are people getting turned on by things like that, and there are girls that like to scream in pain and be helpless. If that happens without each others agreement and if it happens in the real world, I'm against it. If not, I have no problem with it, simple thing...

PS: Apparently I was unclear, the Japan-blaming part was addressed to dreamwind and Cruelty...
