Watching Kyle withdraw Gyarados from the arena, Skye remained quiet as he watched Typloshion come out of it's Pokéball. Skye's eyes glimmered.

"Oh, and it looks like Gyarados is out of the match, leaving only Kyle's Typhlosion left on his side. It's a massive fire type against a massive grass type. Will Typhlosion's special destroy Torterra?" the announcer cried out.

Before the announcer could continue, a massive wave of flames went searing through the arena; Typloshion's ERUPTION attack. A wave of lava covered Skye's final Pokémon. As a result of the constant temperature changes, the arena itself collapsed sending a plume of smoke and debry into the air. Typloshion could be seen, but the rest of the arena was covered in smoke and dust.

"Typloshion's Eruption attack has hit! There's no way Torterra could still be in the match folks!" the announcer cried out.

The smoke and dust cleared away a bit and the visiblity returned to the arena. Practically destroyed from the onslaught of attacks from the match, the arena was in horrid shape. Torterra, however was nowhere to be found.

"What's this?" the announcer called out.

The stern look on Skye's face slowly revealed his familiar smirk.

"I figured you'd want to end it fast with Typloshion, but man!" Skye called aloud. "You're really gettin' aggressive!"

Skye looked across the arena smirking at his opponent who obviously had a look of extreme shock and confusion. He decided to clarify:

"When Torterra used Frenzy plant at Gyarados, I'm betting you only kept your eyes on your own Pokémon, right?" Skye called out. "You should've watched Torterra instead; I had a gut feeling you'd use Eruption again, so when Torterra used Frenzy Plant on Gyarados, he also had some roots planted beneath him which he used to launch himself up just as your Typloshion used it's attack. He still couldn't move, but the attack could, which from the looks of it worked! Torterra! NOW! Use EARTHQUAKE!"

Directly above the arena, to the shock of everyone in the stadium, Torterra was quickly descending down. Most of his right side was afllicted with burns from Typloshion's attack, but Torterra managed to avoid the full force of the attack which would have almost guaranteed a knock-out. The Pokémon's extreme weight added to the oncoming Earthquake attack. This attack would surely do some massive damage. Crashing in an chaotic blunder of earth and debris, Torterra sent out massive waves of after-shock throughout the destroyed arena. All of which were surging right for Typloshion.

"Whew. That was too close," Skye thought to himself. "Hehe, I had no idea that Torterra did that, but I guess no one has to know... I'll just pretend I totally know what I'm doing... but man I'm really screwed now. I can't use Frenzy plant because it's ineffective against Typloshion and I can't risk Torterra being immobile. He knows I can use Earthquake, so that'll get old.... man, what am I supposed to do now?"

"What!?" Kyle exclaimed as Torterra was still standing, and the Earthquake attack came closer to Typhlosion. He started to growl at Skye's extreme luck. "How do you keep doing that!?" Kyle yelled over to Skye. "You won't be lucky this time!"

The earthquake rocked the stadium as Typhlosion has enough time to recover from the Eruption attack. "You forget that it took a while for Torterra to come down, and I can use an attack. Earthquake won't cancel out Eruption since they both shake on the ground. I'm finishing this now!"

The earthquake rushed over to Typhlosion, as he waited for my next command. "He's still immobile! Use Eruption again!" Without missing a beat, rushes of fire and flame pillars rushed through the stadium, transforming the floor of the arena into a pool of molten lava. The trainer boxes started to concave into the attack. The crowd screamed as some of the stadium was starting to give way, the ceiling of the stadium started to crash down onto the field because of overheating support beams.

The violent eruption passed through the earthquake as Kyle started to sweat from the massive heat influx of the constant fire storms. The announcer's voice became a static noise because of the overheated wires and speakers. Kyle looked straight over to Skye, hoping he had no more "little tricks" up his sleeve to protect the immobile, grounded Torterra.

He calmly said to Skye as parts of the ceiling of the stadium came crashing down around them, "Nice match."

(OOC: Immobile huh? Watch this.)

Watching his Pokémon land the Earthquake, Skye waited for his opponent to make another move. The blow from the Earthquake itself hit the arena and seemingly hit Typloshion but didn't knock it out. Watching Kyle Skye noticed that his opponent was beginning to lose his composure from the pressure.

"Dang, he's really going all out, I better do something quick or---" Skye's train of thought was interrupted by a second Eruption attack by his opponent's Typloshion.

The force of this attack was intense; the entire stadium itself began to collapse a bit as a result. Skye knew that this was it; Torterra could not avoid this attack, his opponent was getting out of control. Spontaneously, Skye flashed determination in his eyes. If he was going down, he wouldn't go down without a fight.

"Damn. What some people will do for a win..." Skye said calmly as he watched the match come to a crashing end. His own trainer box began to slide slightly as the stadium was engulfed in chaos. Off in the audience, the local Pokémon Fire squad was hurrying into the arena. Sighing to himself Skye stood up straight and issued one last command.

"Torterra. Hyper Beam." he called out.

As the lava rushed towards his Pokémon, it blasted a powerful mass of energy concentrated into a spectacular beam of white light. The beam peirced through the lava and headed straight for Typloshion. With lava around everywhere, surely it would be hard for even the toughest of Fire Pokémon to manuever effectively.

"Yeah, nice match Kyle." Skye smirked.

The rushing lava came crashing into his Torterra sending it flying into the opposing wall. Sure enough, Torterra had been K.O'ed.

(OOC: Just added the poll to the first post, but feel free to add your last reply for the match Ryuartyi)

(OOC: You know, this would make a great comic or episode of Pokemon. Best ending of a match ever. Nice match, I had fun with this.)

The blinding white Hyper Beam came extremely fast towards Kyle's Typhlosion. He knew that attack wouldn't take him out, but he was still worried. Chunks of metal was still falling around the arena. "Typhlosion, move out of the way!" Kyle yelled over to his Pokemon, reacting instantly. Typhlosion jumped out, the Hyper Beam hitting its legs, traveling further, hitting Kyle in the shoulder.

He collapsed, holding onto his shoulder as the Hyper Beam destroyed the wall behind him. Breathing heavily, he got up and brought out Typhlosion's Pokeball. "Typhlosion... return." The crowd stood outside the seating area, some rushing outside the stadium. The announcer was with them trying to get out.

"Wow.... I never expected the Pro Pokemon Circuit to be this exciting." Kyle thought to himself as he was getting ready to shake hands with Skye in the middle of the lava drenched arena.

(OOC: I am so freakin' bored so I decided to set up this post as the pre-conclusion)

"Man, this is getting crazy," Skye said softly as he watched Kyle's Typloshion get withdrawn. He was a bit suprised that the Hyper Beam had hit Kyle in the shoulder, but was relieved to see him in an otherwise safe condition.

With the stadium collapsing on itself, Skye withdrew his Torterra to save it from being injured any further. WIth a sigh of relief, Skye placed the Pokéball back into his belt strap and climbed down his trainer box and onto the remains of stadium that were still safe to walk on. Most of the people had evacuated the arena and were all waiting outside to see the conclusion of the match. With both the announcer and Kyle, Skye makes his way out of the stadium while the Pokémon Fire Squad disperses the flames from the wildly out of control ERUPTION attack.

"Welp, I guess it's over. Good job you guys!" Skye said to his Pokéballs as he made his way onto the makeshift stage outside of the arena.

After a few minutes, the sound system was replaced with a new one and the announcer was able to get back onto the mic.

"What an amazing match! The entire stadium has been completely destroyed as a result!" the announcer bellowed.

The crowd all around the make shift stage went wild. Cheers for both trainers could be heard as the final announcement for the winner would be made.

"And so, according to the judges, the winner of this first match in the Pokémon Pro Circuit is......"

Since no new votes have been made in about a week, the winner of this match is Skye (me). Anyone with any questions, please consult the main Pokemon Pro Circuit topic. Thanks.
