Powerful Boss Battle theme - Now in mp3 and midi!

Hello, all I'm sorry for having not so good reputation for my music... But I'm still learning the art of music. Funny thing is usually when I come up with a good song its by accedent... like this time. It doesn't turn out how i wanted it to but it turned out way cooler! Dont fear, this one won't hurt your ears like last time...

My new song, In All of the Power.mid a powerful boss battle theme similar to kingdom hearts boss battle themes style. With the spooky organs, fast pasted intense feeling. I want to add more to this song but for now it can be used. Just credit me if you do.

And please I need ciritsism on this song, I tried very hard to fix the last mistakes with it being reptitive and having no variations and hardley memorable. it's short atm but i will make it longer if it sounds good. I think it sounds good but I can't determine myself. I need to know if other people thinks its good too. thanks!

Well, as a first, when you're learning, you'll always need to consider going over one theme to the next. Never try to fix a mess when you'll most likely make a better one in the future. As for the theme, it's really chaotic to start, and when you notice most battle themes use a minimal arsenal of instruments effectively, or a lot, but only for short periods of time.
Battle themes are tough cookies to bake.

I'll be honest to you, I'm no better then you creating music. But here's what I think:

1 - I love the drums. They are really twisted and fast, and give you the urge that something important is heading our way. One thing I don't like is that it's the same drums over and over again, no variations.
2 - The last part is very cool, but I think the organ sounds throughout the music are too repetitive, always progressing themselves. This is annoying because it is the lead instrument!
3 - What happens at the 36, 37 and 39 seconds of the song? I don't know if it's supposed to stop, but it sounds really wierd to me.

ok thanks for pointing these out to me I am going to try to fix this song and make it better cus I really like this one. ill fix try to fix that stoping i noticed that too. ill try to variate the drums more, and ill try to fix the organs to where they dont sound too reptitive hopefully. thing about that is i thought i knew what you ment by it being reptitive but now im not quite sure... also ill change... or add a diffrent begining to make it start out kind of slower and more mellow then gradually gets more intense.

Ok! here's the new version: its longer and should sound alot better with less if any repetitivity and more variation. fixed some parts of the song sounded wierd. atm the song kind of stops so suddenly at the end and replays. ill fix this later cus im going to try to add more to the song and make the loop more seemless. but i need to take abreak so tell me what you think so far please and thanks!

It still sounds like you need to work out some kinks in the song. To me it just doesn't feel like a boss battle song. It doesn't really give me the vive of fear and evil a well done boss battle song.

ok, im using fruity loops to make it what is VSTI? and, souloux? you think it would sound better if it sounded more evil? becuase i think i can do that... except i think id have to make most of the notes lower pitch for a more dark powerful feeling. maybe thatl make it better.

ok i want to ask something is there any part of the song that sounds good that i shouldnt mess with if not needed? i know you want to help me make it sound better by pointing out whats wrong it would also help to point out if something is right so i dont mess it up you know? thanks for the replies!
