Speaking of cosplay... (it's totally not cosplay, though!)
Okay it's cosplay but of a dude I invented that is actually me in a distorted future shadowy universe thing that is also blatantly borrowing inspiration from Kingdom Hearts. But shhh!
But yeah, end result is I got in an arts and crafty mood today and decided I needed to make an awesome way to keep my keys handy and so this was obviously the best way I could think of to do it.
Mostly, the crests (Logo and Silver brooches) are laminated. The crazy chimp crests are made of silver cardboard, I had to cut four crazy chimp heads so it would be shiny on both sides, then laminated them. The chains are outside of the one holding the CCC logo and my house keys; things I bought from spotlight. The keyrings and chain holding the CCC logo were just shit I had lying around.
My house key is hidden under the CCC Logo. You can see it in this photo which probably looks sexier than I intended it to...
All hail the bad ass Corporation member in Shadowy Robe duds. This is first and foremost the inspiration, the rest was necessity.

So... getting a tattoo hurts 10x more than I could ever expect, but that's because I've got a low pain threshold and I'm a pussy with most kinds of pain, lol... here's the picture that Tom (The tattooist) took just after it was finished:
Looks SO much better in person as opposed to a picture, and it kind of looks smaller than it is on there too, it's the full height of my inner forearm and curves round a little, although the arm she's got in the air was purposely not finished, like it's fading out, otherwise it would've wrapped round the other side too much and gone too high...
Having Auron done when I go back in three weeks! He's going on my outer forearm, and the after I've booked some more, there's going to be Tidus, Lulu, and we've agreed that IF there's any room... Kimahri will make an appearance too (I don't like Rikku and Wakka too much), and any empty space will be filled in with things.

Maybe if he got "Chicken Noodle Soup" in Chinese scrawled across his back, sure, he might have regretted it. However he chose something that means a lot to him, and I personally think it's beautiful and even I intend on getting some tattoos of things that inspired me. (I've got this P3/SMT inspired tattoo in mind!)
If you don't like a tattoo, you really don't have to voice your opinion. Especially if it's one that is of little value.
