Bah.  If you see 3 or more pics of someone and they don't even smirk in one of 'em it makes the illusion that they simply can't.  Smiling is great, at least half of every picture taken should have a smile on a face.

Why? That's so fake. I like photos of people doing things, like you snapped it right as they were doing something, instead of posing. Seems more real to me. It's a picture of not just them, but what they were doing and where they did it. Maybe that's why I only have like 4 pictures in the world though o_O

I need to get one of me actually composing though at some point.
The first two were posed, the third and fourth ones weren't (obviously). For the last one, it had snowed at my house (this was a few days ago), and that's sort of a rare thing where I live, so I was pretty excited about it.

There's a problem.
A posed picture is meant to look posed.  Staring at the camera with a blanket expression of boredom so you don't look goofy while smiling is just as much posing as faking a smile.  In fact if you put more work in looking serious you've just put more effort into it, and thus did more posing for it than if you just smiled.

The natural shots really only look good when they are spur of the moment, and someone just shot one off.  I don't know about you guys, but usually those types of pictures happen in one of three scenarios.  The "I'm really bored and have a camera phone" which results in goofy faces and scenes.  The "we were doing something and I just took the photo" which often does have happy faces, like just coming off a ride or just at a party.  And the "that's such a good picture I must capture it forever" which is just anything.  Point is if you cut past my ramble is a posed picture is okay to look posed, that's the point after all.  Unless your trying to be artsy in which case your faking a pose so it doesn't appear it.

Oh and Arcanum... is it me or in that 2nd shot do you actually look younger than you did before?!

I missed KuraiYukita's post as well in my edits... I need to start reading more.
I've seen one pic where you smiled at least :tongue:

I was definitely unsure of your gender. Your hair and the shape of your face looked very boy-ish, yet your eyes  suggested that you were female.
