please help me with fl studio! please!

all i want to know how to do is how to use the typing keyboard as a piano. there are absolutley NO tutorials on it i can find. I tried searching at th forums but it wont let me as a guest read the threads.  it will also not let mse see the video tutorials as a guest. and to make matters worse it will not let me register to the image line forums. please help! this is what ive been trying to do since i knew about fl sutdio and there is no tutorials on it!

Just buy a usb keyboard.

Or else, buy fl rather than download it so you can register at the forums and see the tutorials. Its a dirt cheap program.

I have a usb keyboard... the problem is I have it turned on but I don't know what buttons to press to play the notes. or how you set it up. and like i said even though i could not see any tutorials on fl studio sites there still was none regarding this ...

Go into the midi settings and such, you should be able to find something about a midi controller set up. It should be fairly simple.

hit ctrl + t, it turns on typing keyboard to piano keys, open up an instrument channel into a piano roll and the keys will make sound

no, I did this and I pressed virtually every key on my keyboard and its not making any sound....
if anyone got me wrong I don't want to use the midi keyboard im trying to use my typing keyboard...

To make the keyboard work as a piano you need to click the keyb to note switch (near the transport, thas where play pause and stop are) then you need to activate a channel by clicking the green light beside it. Should work. If not try resetting FL to default settings as it should work by default...
