Player, in XP and VX, moves right indefinitley, can someone help?

I was twiddling around in VX, and suddenly my character started to move right, not stopping.
I closed the game, re-opened it, and this problem persisted in-game and on menus.
So I closed the entire program, re-opened it, and it still did not change. I could not move left in any way.
I re-installed the program, and this persisted.
I then opened XP.
The same problem occured in XP, as with any.
But this is only in the actual RPG game file, with anything else on my computer works fine with no indefinite right-moving.
Can anyone please tell me how this was caused, how I could fix it, or at least change the movement keys, as it is just the actual -> key.

That's strange. It should not have carried over from XP to VX, because the programs do not share any of the same files. Even the scripting language is different. Are you pressing your right key by accident? Or it could be something that's messed up.

Just restart your computer.  RMVX/RMXP tends to do this from time to time.

Hey thanks, restarting it worked.
I guess I was a bit of a noob there, but I still cant undertsnad what happened.

My guess is that you have a gamepad plugged in (guitar hero controllers included) that had a button pressed down or was not calibrated properly.
