It's a bit choppy though (practically every platformer script is choppy)... if you really want to make a good platformer game, I'd advise you to use a different game making system. (Edit: Or at least until a better script version comes out.)

I recommend you 'GameMaker' to make platform games.
MUGEN, to make Fighting Games.
And Flash, to make money...XD

flash has a pretty high learning curve, jumping from rmxp to AS and flash is gunna be a tough cookie to bite

I?ve a perfect working Platform Engine.. But don?t know who made it.
If i?m able to sort out the Scripts from the Engine ( the Engine is my Castlevania Game ).. I make a Demo project for you..
