Plants vs. Zombies

@purpletegami: Hi purple, I'm really glad that you and your friends are enjoying the game. I'm always happy to hear that it's being picked up by more hardcore gamers as well :) And thanks for posting that Gamasutra article; the person who interviewed me was really nice (Jeriaska). He put together a series of game composer interviews including one with my favorite composer, Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, etc.)... if you're into game composers, you should totally check out the series.

@gRaViJa: Haha, thanks :)

@Crap:
Why would I buy a freakin' Flash game? That's basically what it is and there are plenty of Flash games that are much better.
That's totally cool if it's not your type of game, but I should point out that it's not at all just a regular old flash game (it's not even really a Flash game; despite using flash animation, the game wasn't made in Flash)... people all over the industry have been commenting about its innovative game design, it's got weeks worth of gameplay, and it's managed to do something really unusual for a game: it is being played across the board by both hardcore and casual gamers. Plus, it's sitting at 89% on Metacritic... including a 9/10 from PC Gamer... that's pretty good for "just a freakin' Flash game" :P

@Tindy: Oh cool, thanks for letting me know Tindy :)

@CrapFactory: This (rmxp.org) is a low-level indie-game-making forum. People who work with Flash to make games are independent game makers, too. It doesn't matter what software they used, if something is cool, then support the guys who made the cool game. If you spent a bunch of money and had a team working on your game (if you're making one) and you went commercial, wouldn't you want people to slide a dime or two your way?

Addicting! That's what Plants vs. Zombies is. I mostly forgot about my PS3 during the couple weeks I was playing it. The whole affair is not only humorous but genuinely fun! It's clearly a game in which the developers kept asking themselves "What can we add to make this even more fun?" Was well worth my $.

Loved the music too! You've got talent, miss matcha. It's neat to learn that Mitsuda is one of your influences. (and what better an influence?) I've seen this happen before -- new generations of musicians influenced by Japanese RPG composers ^^

It's one of the best games I ever played because:
=> It's about zombies :boo:
=> It's fun to play!
=> The zombies a humorous!
=> You'll have to play it to understand me!

Thank you for viewing
