Picture problem, enemy damage moves when the player walks

Okay, I got a simple problem that is probably staring me right in the face(and I hate that...) anyway I have my damage numbers set to my Enemies X/Y but when I move they move somewhat along with me.

example:

RabiteX = Rabite 1 screen x
RabiteY = Rabite 1 screen y

show picture 1 XXX [XXX] [XXX]
Wait 1 frame

it jags when it just shows the picture, the real problem lies with move picture(make the damage pop up/fade)

Anyone got an idea of fixing this nasty bug?

Yes, it causes a slight delay, but it can also help to prevent serious lag. I do have an alternative to this method, however. It's a small script I posted here. That script will allow anyone to actually anchor an image to the map, meaning that you wouldn't even need to make an update loop to mod the x and y positions.
