Picture help.

I want to create a picture of the world map and just have the character select certain areas available to him (for example, Final Fantasy Tactics and Illusion of Gaia). How can I do this? If I set it as a picture, it's always above the character, and it's always fixed (meaning I can't have any world map larger than the screen). If I set it as a panorama, it's impossible for me to set exact locations for events, because the panorama's position changes in relation to where the character is.

Also, I haven't visited here for awhile. Can someone tell me what's going on with the resources? What happened and when will they be back? I can't find any announcement about it.

One way is to convert the picture into a tileset. You'll have to cut the image into 32x32 tiles.

If that's too tedious, you can also try arevolupapo's World Map Script.

Reg, I know what you mean. But it sounds a bit misleading...

You would have to cut your map image into 256pixel wide strips.
Then paste those strips into a single image, 256 wide and however tall it needs to be
to fit all of the strips.

Much easier to explain if the OP could post the image in question...

I can never see the images you post, Brew  :down: Could you try uploading to imageshack or something?

Anyway, I suppose the easier way would be arevolupapo's script. It's a lot easier to adjust to your needs, although you'd have to check the x and y manually. Plus you get vehicles (I think)!
