`Has anyone seen the movie? What did you think of it?
And what about the soundtrack? Did you like the soundtrack?

I for one haven't seen the movie, but i love the new album. \m/ indeed. Apart from the title track and Master Exploder, i liked all the songs on it.

I plan to see just because of Jack Black. But that's me. I'm not into music that much, but if I like the songs in the movie I may get it.

I've seen the movie and I loved it (but that's probably because I'm a big Tenacious D fan and listen to lots and lots of Rock.)

My other friend who likes old-school rock, but hates Jack Black didn't like it. It's... A buddy flic, and it does a damn good job of being a buddy flic, but KG and Black's preformances are lacking somewhat. Though if you go into the movie not expecting oscar quality Marlon Brando stuff then you'll enjoy it. There's something charming about KGs overconfidence and Blacks spastic attitude that you just have to laugh at.

And it helps if you listen to Iron Maiden, James Dio, Metallica and happen to be a big fan of rock n' roll (specifically around the 80s and 90s.)

My only complaint is that I wish the movie was a bit more rock opera-ish, but the songs they do sing are pretty damn good. The opening song is a lot more funny and makes more sense once you see it, I promise you.

Man i saw the movie and it was so awsome i cant believe it went in and out of theatres so fast though i had to go watch it at Village 8 where they were still playing Pirates of The Carribean heh heh. But yea it was a good movie i liked the part where they were driving in the pizza guys car and kept wrecking it while he was on the phone with them. I also liked how they made fun of star wars in the part where JB is sneaking past the lasers
