well... I did this characterset of a Skeleton turning into fire. but.... It's not too good. It looks plain Jane if you catch my drift.

How can I make it look like a real boss battle animation.

This looks like a character sprite animation before you fight a fire elemental as a boss. Very good.

I would suggest posing the character more, so he's not just standing still. Maybe a sort of "Power Up" pose, or even something to look like he's in agony as he's burning before he's all firey.

Haha very cool, i'm thinking that if he's in agony though his mouth should be different because he looks like he's laughing, though if it's evil it might make sense.

Those limbs you did don't look to good. You left some of the outline of the old arm in a couple poses.

I know that this is a pain in the ass to say. I love all of the stages a hell of a lot. Would it be possible to make each frame on the top line into full character sets? so they could actually walk around. They look alien like and would make for great characters.

It needs to "burst" into flames, instead of just... fade into flames. You know?

If you want to make it look like he burst into flames, just use a special effect/battle animation with the power-up pose.

I like it, it's realy original! Even if it reminds me a boss in FFV.
