Photoshop 7 VS Elements 4.0

I have both, but I only have 7.0 installed.

I've been having tablet problems with 7, so I was wondering what 4.0 has to offer in comparison with 7, because I'm not capable of having both at the same time.

Is 4.0 the same? Better? What does it lack over 7.0?

Their both as good, I guess 7 just has more filters and stuff, but you can download all sorts of things for each.

Hi Kurry. Anyway, Elements 4.0 is actually newer than 7.0.

Elements is a bad programme in comparison tbh, although they are virtually the same they still do differ alot, i'd stick with 7 tbh

7.0 just started working with my tablet again, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for so long.

I got PSpro through an online source. I forget how much the software costs.

The GIMP is actually a great piece of software. Probably the best free software.

PS7 is better both for MOUSE and TABLET use...
THough for a tablet, i suggest CS2, coz i think the image update is much quicker and filters are better there.

If you cannot buy CS2, stick with PS7.

@Aran;I was actually able to get PaintShopPro 11 on Sale at Best Buy for around $40.00USD. However it was a couple of months ago, I doubt that deal still exists. But if you are willing to be patient I'm sure it may pop up around that price again. I think it goes around $100.00, you don't have to break the bank and IMO its a decent program.
