Penguins rule!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a penguin.

Critique? Comments?  Harsh realism about the lack of a need for a large penguin in rpgs?

Penguins are awesome! I would find a way to fit it into my game, one way or another.

Beyond penguin awesomeness, it seems like a very good sprite to my untrained eye. Nicely done!

Looks nice so far, maybe brighten up the orange/brown under the beak.

Maybe even make the black a dark blue, so you can use more shades.

It'll really only be good for side view games.
And even though penguins are dark, you really should add in more there in the black spots.  I can kind of almost see something, or that's a scratch on my monitor - can't tell.  But it looks really like a blog in a recognizable shape.

Even things meant to be black, aren't really black in spriting.  A black coat will have shades of blue, purple, and some gray in it - at least if they're good they  really won't need any more than a shade or maybe two of gray (most good looking sprites use a blueish/purple like color as highlights and tones instead of just lighter shades of gray).

Try going over it with more colors to see what I mean.

Feck. I didn't even realise it wasn't at the right angle. ><

And...well, it did have blue,  but I killed it. :(

I'll fix it and post when I'm done, i suppose.

Dude this is the most amazing penguin ever! I'll have to put this in my game some how!
But... It looks a little big and harsh on my eyes, I kinda have to squint a little to see it, maybe I'm just going blind but it looks a little heavily pixelated
